When I looked at this week’s calendar, I nearly had a panic attack.
My calendar was filled with brightly colored squares, each one indicating something I needed to do.
PLUS tomorrow is the last day of school for my kids.
And so it’s incredibly ironic that I scheduled this topic for today’s Weekly Worksheet.
The topic is rest and how we tend to put that last on our priorities.
True downtime usually involves completely unplugging, even if just for a short time.
A 2013 study on mice determined that when the mice were exposed to two hours of silence per day they developed new cells in the region of the brain associated with memory, emotion and learning.
In this sense silence can quite literally grow your brain.
So grab this week’s worksheet and make sure you’re taking care of yourself AND setting yourself up for maximum productivity with appropriate rest.
Watch the video below to learn why learning to rest so vital.
Request this week’s worksheet below and spend some time answering the questions you’ll find there. (If you’re already on our email list, you’ll get each week’s worksheet on Mondays at 4pm EST.)
